Creative dating ideas come easier to some than others.  The best thing you can do to ensure that you have a creative and fun date planned is to get to know as much as you can BEFORE the actual date.

Even if you are looking for creative dating ideas you will want to make sure that you are in a “getting to know you” setting. For the record I do not consider the movies to be one of these creative dating ideas.  I’ve never understood why some people just go to a movie on the first date.

Here’s one of my favorite creative dating ideas that will help you get to know each other. Start by saying,
“I’m not into game playing but how about playing a couple of games just to break the ice?” This statement will certainly intrigue your date.
“I really like you and want to find out a lot more about you. Do you remember the old TV game show ’To Tell the truth,’ and ‘I’ve got a secret?’ We’ll start out by agreeing that whatever is revealed and discussed between us will forever be our secret. No family, friends, or diary will ever know what we discuss, agreed?”

At this point each person gets a turn asking the other a question. The other person is obliged to tell the truth. You can start out by asking what is your favorite color?  I’ll leave the balance of the questions to your imagination. The propriety is tempered by the feeling of warmth, romance and trust between you and the alcohol level of the participants.

This creative dating idea will enable us to get to know the object of our attention and affection much sooner than would a series of weekly dates.
